Staffing & Office-Corporate
Our corporate headquarters office in Norfolk remains in operation with most employees working remotely and a minimal on-site group of fewer than ten people. Our offices in New York, Baltimore, Los Angeles and Tel Aviv are being operated remotely as well. Measures have been taken to ensure that Harbor Group International and its affiliate companies continue to operate on all fronts, including property management, asset management, transactions, investor relations, accounting, and any other vital business functions.
Staffing & Office-Property
At our properties, in most cases our office and maintenance teams are working their normal schedules and shifts, but our offices are open virtually only. Prospective multifamily tenants can now access virtual tours.
Following CDC and local guidance, fitness centers and other shared amenity spaces are temporarily closed. Properties are conducting virtual events to substitute for tenant events. Maintenance requests are limited to emergency-only situations and residents are required to complete a brief questionnaire before any in-unit or suite visits.
Renewals & Expiring Leases
Our properties are working with tenants and residents on an individual basis regarding renewals and lease expirations, with sensitivity to financial hardships while following guidelines set forth by Federal, State and Local Governments and their regulatory agencies.
