Jacob I. Slone serves as Managing Director of HGI. Mr. Slone is Head of Business Development and oversees loan originations for HGI's whole loan, mezzanine debt, and preferred equity platforms globally. Additionally, he maintains several important investor relations functions. Mr. Slone is also a member of HGI's Executive Committee. Prior to joining HGI in January 2015, Mr. Slone worked as a trainee in the office of the Global President of Capital Markets at CBRE. Mr. Slone holds a Masters in Real Estate from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and is also a graduate of Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Slone sits on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations including the JEWELS School, Talmudical Academy, and the Agudath Israel of Maryland.
