HARBOR GROUP INTERNATIONAL SELLS TWO APARTMENT COMMUNITIES IN FORT WAYNE
An affiliate of Harbor Group International, L.L.C. (HGI), based in Norfolk, Virginia, has sold the 448-unit Willows of Coventry apartment community and the 248-unit Pointe Inverness apartment community in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Dial Equities out of Omaha, Nebraska for $35 million.
The properties were purchased as part of a portfolio by HGI in May of 2002 for $31.372 million. HGI spent more than $3 million upgrading the properties, including the addition of a fitness center and carports.
Pointe Inverness and Willows of Coventry, both built in 1987, are garden-style apartment communities located on 29.58 and 44.43 acres of land respectively. Pointe Inverness contains 18 two-story buildings and one clubhouse, and Willows of Coventry contains 28 two-story buildings and one clubhouse. Amenities for both include full-sized washers and dryers, wood-burning fireplaces, extra storage areas, swimming pool, whirlpool, and clubhouse.
