HARBOR GROUP INTERNATIONAL SELLS
SYNERGY BUSINESS PARK IN NASHVILLE
Harbor Group International (HGI) of Norfolk, Va., has sold Synergy Business Park in Nashville to an investment group and fund sponsored by Philadelphia-based Urdang Capital Management, Inc. for an undisclosed price.
The property was 85% occupied at the time of closing, with a wide range of tenants including General Electric, Vanderbilt University, The Associated Press and Cisco Systems.
“We are pleased with the performance of Synergy Business Park and we were able to execute our exit strategy perfectly,” said Robert Friedman, Senior Vice President and Director of Asset Management for Harbor Group International.
HGI acquired the property, which consists of eight three-story buildings with 494,876 rentable square feet, in October 2002. Located in the heart of Brentwood's office district, the park is built on the site of an historic plantation established in 1838 and is recognized in Nashville as one of the most picturesque and convenient office properties in the city.
Harbor Group International has been an aggressive acquirer of investment property since its creation in 1985. The company’s other prominent central business district office properties include Dominion Tower in Norfolk, Va., 200 Public Square in Cleveland, State House Square in Hartford, Conn. and One Enterprise Center in Jacksonville, Fla.
