Harbor Group International Promotes Robert Friedman To President Of Harbor Group Management Company

NORFOLK, VA, January 1, 2008, Harbor Group International, LLC (“Harbor Group” or the “Company”) announced the promotion of Robert Friedman to President of Harbor Group Management Company, an affiliate of Harbor Group International.  

“Robert has been a tremendous leader within the Harbor Group organization for many years. His experience with all areas of our property operations and asset classes will prove invaluable as he assumes full responsibility as President of Harbor Group Management Company,” said Jordan E. Slone, Chairman and CEO of the Company.

Robert joined Harbor Group in 1989 and has served in various capacities, including head of portfolio management, asset management, commercial leasing and multifamily operations. He has also been involved in all aspects of Harbor Group’s property operations and taken active roles in underwriting of acquisitions, due diligence efforts and capital enhancement programs.

In his expanded role, Robert will be responsible for all investment property operations, encompassing asset management, property management, leasing, marketing, construction and training. He will continue to serve on Harbor Group’s Executive Management Committee and its Investment Committee.
