HARBOR GROUP INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES APARTMENT COMMUNITY IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA
An affiliate of Harbor Group International (HGI) of Norfolk, Virginia has acquired the 444 unit Turnberry Place apartment community in Atlanta, Georgia, renaming it Creekside Corner Apartments. HGI also owns the 400 unit Creekside Crossing Apartments, directly across the street from Creekside Corner.
“Creekside Corner is an excellent addition to our portfolio,” said Richard Litton, Harbor Group International President. “It is a well-maintained property in a rapidly improving growth market, and we feel our proven management strategy will enable this property to reach its full potential.”
Creekside Corner, built in 2000 and 2001, features one, two and three bedroom floor plans with an average size of 996 square feet. The Property is currently 90% occupied.
Amenities at Creekside Corner include a clubhouse, business center, swimming pool, fitness center, car care center, playground and controlled access gates. Dwelling units feature crown molding, washer/dryer connections and intrusion alarm systems. Select units also feature a fireplace with gas starter, nine-foot ceilings or a washer and dryer.
In addition to the two Creekside properties, HGI’s holdings in Atlanta include Veranda Apartments with 280 units.
