BOMA ATLANTA PRESIDENT-ELECT
JOINS HARBOR GROUP INTERNATIONAL
Richard “Rick” Amon, the current president-elect of Building Owners and Managers Association Atlanta (BOMA-Atlanta), has accepted the position of Regional Vice President for Norfolk, Va.-based Harbor Group International, L.L.C. (HGI).
A Business Administration graduate of Shorter College, Amon has 27 years of regional and local commercial real estate management and transaction experience, including ownership of Carriage House Real Estate Company. He most recently served as Director of Property Management for Cousin Properties.
“I'm very excited to be joining the Harbor Group management team, a very dynamic and talented group of industry professionals with exceptional core values,” said Amon. “They have a tremendous foundation for growth and are already well-positioned in many key markets.”
As Regional Vice President, Amon will be responsible for HGI commercial assets in the Southeast and Midwest.
“Bringing Rick aboard is consistent with our goal of recruiting the best people in the industry – people who have proven track records of delivering solid returns to investors and who are committed to developing top notch management teams with an emphasis on delivering the
highest level of tenant satisfaction” said Robert S. Friedman, Managing Director and Director of Portfolio Management for HGI.
“We recently acquired two commercial properties in Atlanta – 34 Peachtree and The Hurt Building – and it made sense to base Rick out of that geographic area,” he added. “From his office in the Hurt Building, he can easily service assets throughout the Southeast and Midwest.”
