HARBOR GROUP INTERNATIONAL SELLS NORFOLK, VIRGINIA OFFICE TOWER
An affiliate of Harbor Group International, L.L.C. (HGI), based in Norfolk, Virginia, has sold the 229,000 square foot 500 East Main Street office building in Norfolk, Virginia, to NPV/Direct Invest, LLC for $29.8 million.
J. Scott Adams, CCIM with CB Richard Ellis served as broker for the Norfolk transaction.
“Harbor Group International made a long-term commitment to 500 East Main Street because the downtown Norfolk market is strong and continues to improve,” said Richard Litton, President of Harbor Group International. “We made numerous improvements to the property during our years of ownership and we are pleased with the success of our exit plan.”
500 East Main Street is a 16-story, 228,541 square foot tower in downtown Norfolk, Virginia. The property, anchored by BB&T, was purchased by HGI in 1998. HGI made significant improvements to the property throughout its long tenure as owner, including a new first floor façade and dramatic lobby upgrade.
