Harbor Group International is the result of the 1998 merger of two aggressive and successful firms — Harbor Group Capital Corporation, based in Norfolk, Virginia, USA, and BO-DA Investment and Trading, Limited, of Tel Aviv, Israel.

Harbor Group Capital Corporation and BO-DA, which had jointly acquired real estate investment properties, created a platform to act on opportunities worldwide. Together, the firms have more than three decades of combined experience in acquiring office buildings, apartment complexes, shopping centers and other commercial properties in North America and Europe.

• Harbor Group Capital Corporation was founded in 1985 as a real estate investment company by its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Jordan E. Slone.
• In 1998, Harbor Group Capital Corporation merged with BO-DA Investment and Trading Limited of Tel Aviv, Israel, an Israeli investment firm founded in 1981, creating Harbor Group International ("HGI").
• HGI has a global integrated team with over 500 employees to deal with acquisitions of both national and international real estate investment properties, asset management and property management.
